2nd and 4th Sunday Sermon Series from Jude: “Contending for the Faith”
All are welcome to join us on the 2nd and 4th Sunday nights of each month as we worship and study through the book of Jude.
As Jude puts it, he writes to his readers to do what we are to do today: “contend for the faith that was once for all delivered to the saints” (Jude 4). In a day and age in which false teachers and teaching is rampant, it is important to hear Jude’s message once again.
Along the way, Jude presents an exciting number of issues for the Christian to understand. These involve the nature of salvation, our Triune God, the Angel of the Lord in the Old Testament, Jude’s commentary on Sodom and Gomorrah, and more. Though it is one of the smallest books of the New Testament, it is rich with a theology that is necessary to our understanding of God and how to live our lives as Christians today.
Dates and sermons are subject to change from time to time. For the most current information, please check announcements for each upcoming Sunday on our Twitter and Facebook accounts.
Our afternoon service schedule for Sundays is as follows:
1 pm on the first and third Sundays – everyone is encouraged to bring their own lunch to join each other for food and fellowship at 12pm.
5pm on the second and fourth Sundays – as people desire, the building is open for anyone to fellowship afterward, providing their own meal to stay longer if they wish.
1pm on fifth Sundays – there are usually only four “fifth Sundays” a year. About once a quarter, we have a special meal at 12pm with a 1pm testimony and praise service.
